Steve,Thank you for your comment. I'm a little confused by the content. It seems to me you're saying that, in order to avoid Hell, I have to be baptized. I know this is a popular doctrine with many Christian organizations. However, I have to point out that most places in the NT that tell how to be saved only say we have to believe in Jesus Christ. Baptism is rarely mentioned. Now, I do believe being baptized is a command--just as it's commanded to love your neighbor and help widows and orphans. However, it's not a clear doctrine that it is a requirement for salvation.
